VALUE THE VILLAGE

Appreciation and gratitude is invaluable! It has nothing to do with egotistical "praise" or a "pat on the back" for attention, yet rather a deep understanding of what it means to truly value your village. We appreciate EVERYONE who plays a role in saving and/or improving the quality of life for a voiceless animal. As Maria Montessori once said, "Joy, feeling one's own value, being appreciated and loved by others, feeling useful and capable of production are all factors of enormous value for the human soul." Whether you're a good samaritan driving down the road who decided to pull your car over and rescue a stray animal off the street or you donated to your local Rescue, provided a temporary "safe haven" for an animal or simply shared a shelter's Facebook post... YOU MATTER. No matter how great or small your act of kindness and compassion, we value YOU, we are thankful for YOU and we could never do what we do without YOU. It is important that we honor every human being who is such a critical piece of this large, complex puzzle that we call "Animal Rescue."
